Customer Reviews

"Petit bar mais excellent service!"

- Caroline J.

"I got the downeast dipper and it was so freaking good. My lover got the soup of the day and it came out super hot which was nice and he also got a Reuben that I tried a bite of and really liked even though I normally think that Reubens are garbage. He also got an extremely reasonably priced lobster roll that he said was super delicious too!The service was friendly and prompt and he even laughed at my boyfriend's silly jokes. It was my first time there but I will definitely be back! Oh also the pickles were huge and delicious."

"9/25 - On a NE bus tour, stopped in town for lunch & chose Tucks Ale House. Many locals were here and sat at the bar, so if the locals eat here, so do I. A one person operation, the bartender was also the server & she did a good job. I just had a burger, wife had the Pilgrim which was A turkey with dressing & gravy for dipping. Both were good (my Med was more Med Rare) served with chips & pickle. It was lunchtime so don't usually do beer but they had a number of styles I would have liked to try. We were the only ones from our bus to eat here, probably because it's a bar, but don't let that detour you, a great place to eat"

"No need to check out any other bars in Farmington - this is the ONE. Eliza is top notch and was very attentive to our group's needs. My brother and I tested her beer knowledge, tap skills and patience with our flight orders. We were from out of state and it was nice to have all local beers to choose from. Food was excellent and we didn't miss fries or fried food. I tried the Turkey melt special with chips and a side of stuffing. Our group also had the warm pretzel, loaded nachos, burger, and lobster roll. All the dishes were hot, tasty and served up VERY fast. My only "complaint" was the venison jalapeno burger was sold out for the day. Just another reason for us to come back, can't wait to see what new beers are on tap. Great experience all around."

"Great food and service for the price. Best bargain I've found in Maine so far. Nate the owner was our bartender and had great stories. There was no issue switching to a table when the family arrived. The Cajun shrimp was fabulous. Their signature IPA went down smooth. Rest of the family enjoyed their meals as well. Fed 6 with what I usually spend on 2. I have found my new Maine hangout."

- Tommy S.

"Great little bar, unfortunately by the time we got there on Sunday night they had ran out of almost the whole menu. We had a Cajun shrimp roll and a steak dip both were decent and fresh. Guinness on tap, and a great variety of beers."
